Haha!! I keep telling myself the same thing every time I go to clean/organize something--that it's gotta get messy before it gets pretty! Keep up the good work! It feels amazing once that mess is all organized & clean! =)
ReplyDeleteWe have been cleaning out closets like crazy around here these past few weeks. It is awful how disatrous it has to get before it can get clean, isn't it? Can't wait to see the after pics!
ReplyDeleteSomehow this post makes me feel a little better. Your house is always soooo tidy--I'm glad to see you have stuff just like me in that beautiful kitchen!
ReplyDeleteA photo like that can only mean one thing: the finished product will be fabulous:)
ReplyDeleteThis is what my house looks like right now too. It's driving me crazy! But all the organizing and purging will make it all worth it end the end! Right?
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I noticed that John Deere hat on the counter. My husband has the same one. I'm always finding his hats lying around in strange places in our house. Hats and scraps of paper with numbers scribbled on them. : )
ReplyDeleteYour photos made me laugh! I have the exact same kitchen mess at my house. It's worth it though!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Sue
And here I thought it was just me. My husband keeps coming home finding me during the mess process of cleaning. I must say it does feel good to get it done.
ReplyDeleteOh boy! My husband HATES it when he gets home and I haven't finished my "JOB"... I've learned to just give him a call before he gets home so he's not shocked when he rolls in ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW, way to go! It will only get better!!!
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen still looks so beautiful even with stuff everywhere :)
ReplyDeleteKeep meaning to thankyou for showing the different Meyer horse books - I thought there were just three (!?) - I got some for my daughters 7th birthday and she was so thrilled.
Happy organising.... :)
In spite of all the clutter, your chandelier is to die for! Good luck and look forward to the "after" pics!
ReplyDeleteI always like to say it looks worse before it looks better :) Looks like you are doing a thorough job!
ReplyDeleteEven in all the chaos I still LOVE your kitchen!! It is so beautiful! I could not get the email button to work, but I was just going to ask you a couple of questions about homeschooling, if you had any extra time. My oldest is starting kindergarden next year and I was interested in finding out some stuff from you...
