Strawberry picking.

Can you believe I have never been strawberry picking? Yet another joy of michigan living is the abundant strawberry season... Yum!
This will definitely be a new tradition.
I see pies, jam, and dried strawberries in my near future!! Do you have a favorite strawberry recipe?

  2. I've never picked strawberries either. Blueberries, blackberries, apples, yes. But never strawberries. My favorite strawberry recipe is a Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle dessert. Its ALWAYS a hit and I come home with an empty trifle bowl every time.
BTW, might you have any girls' used Keen sandals to sell?(I know, most random question ever)

  3. I just posted about our strawberry picking adventures! Isn't it such a fun tradition? We found a recipe on Pinterest & made homemade strawberry popsicles--yum! =) Enjoy that bounty!

  4. Oh yum! I so love them. We have some in the garden and the kids love to just run and pick a few to eat when they are playing out side.

  8. Sara, this is so random but could you tell me your source for your shag rug in your living room? I'm trying to decide between shag, (comfortable, practical for children) and natural fiber. I've always wanted a jute style rug but I'm thinking it won't be nearly soft enough. But some of the shag styles I've seen look to shiny and synthetic, more like grandma's bathroom rug! Thanks for any help, I admire your style! ~Melissa
